Who We Are?

The Organization began in June, 2019 with the aim of documenting the Bono Twi Project for academic pursuit, preserve, promote and project the Bono culture, history, heritage, research, advocacy and development in Bonoman.

Bonoman Institute is an Institution established to bring the Bono people together for their development within and beyond Ghana. Since economic progress, social progress, prosperity and development are not the natural order of things and development cannot also be guaranteed if the people are not prepared for it. Therefore, it is expedient to establish  Bonoman Institute to undertake several advocacies and programmes to enhance the well-being of the Bono people to enable them contribute towards development in Ghana and Globally. 

Bonoman Institute, a Sunyani-based policy think-tank has been dedicated to enhance the development of Bono people through research, documentation, Bono Twi Language documentation for academic pursuit,promotion of trade, investment and culture.

As a research and development Institution geared towards societal and human progress, we aim to be the premier and most reputable organization in the world that seeks to bring together professionals,experts and experienced people for discussions and building consensus on creating concepts that promote and sustain the interests of Bono people and Ghana and make a contribution to the holistic progress of Bonoman to enhance national and global development.

The Institution hopes to become a centre of Excellence for development.
